Outdoor Educational Facility
Overview:
Tulare City School District (TCSD) has transformed nearly 27 acres into a brand new Outdoor Educational Facility, an exciting new hub for student athletics and community activities.

Purpose and Use:
This new facility will provide dedicated space for sports programs, ensuring sustainability and reducing wear on individual school sites. It will serve as the central location for:
- After-school sports for 4th–6th and 7th–8th grades through the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP)
- Sports practices, and games
- Community green spaces and recreational activities outside of school hours
Facility Features:
- Natural Grass Field Space with Lighting for evening events
- Dedicated parking lot for convenience and accessibility
- Bathroom Facilities for student athletes and visitors
- Concession Stand
- Gated and Monitored Safety Features
Impact:
This facility will help TCSD continue providing modern and enriched spaces for students to grow as athletes and leaders, encouraging physical activity and teamwork. It also alleviates pressure on school grounds, helping maintain community spaces and improving the student experience by providing a purpose-built environment for practices and games.
