Connie Diaz has been a proud resident of the Tulare area for over 30 years. She is deeply invested in the community, not only as a longtime resident but also as a parent of three children who are currently attending schools within the Tulare City School District. This personal connection to the district fuels her passion for ensuring the best educational outcomes for all students.
 
Professional Background:
Connie's commitment to education and community service is exemplified by her tenure as President of the Tulare County of Education Migrant Education Program Advisory Committee, Region VIII, from 2016 to 2018. In this role, she was instrumental in advocating for the needs and rights of migrant students and their families, working tirelessly to provide them with the resources and support necessary to succeed academically.
 
Community Involvement:
In addition to her professional endeavors, Connie has been an active participant in various community initiatives. Her leadership in the Migrant Education Program Advisory Committee demonstrated her dedication to improving educational opportunities and outcomes for all children in the region, particularly those from underserved and migrant backgrounds.
