Tulare City School District Office

Board Clerk - Daniel Enriquez

Background
As a lifelong resident of Tulare, my roots run deep in this community. I had the privilege of attending Tulare City Schools, where I laid the foundation for my education and future. I began my academic journey at Lincoln Elementary School, continued through Maple Elementary School, and completed my middle school years at Mulcahy Middle School. These formative years instilled in me a strong sense of community and a dedication to giving back.

Professional Background
My professional journey led me to become the proud owner of Hazel's Kitchen, a beloved establishment located in downtown Tulare. Through Hazel's Kitchen, I have had the opportunity to serve the community, offering a welcoming space for locals to gather and enjoy delicious, home-cooked meals. Our commitment to quality and service has made Hazel's Kitchen a staple in the downtown area, reflecting the heart and soul of Tulare.

Community Involvement
My commitment to the community extends beyond my business. I have been actively involved in various local organizations, striving to make Tulare a better place for all. I served on the Tulare Downtown Association Board of Directors from 2006 to 2012 and was President from 2008 to 2010. My dedication to preserving and celebrating our local history led me to join the Tulare Historical Society as a Board Member from 2008 to 2011. Additionally, I contributed to the Tulare Chamber of Commerce as a Board Member from 2009 to 2011, working to support local businesses and economic development.

Since 2007, I have been a proud Tulare Sunrise Rotary member, serving as President from 2013 to 2014. My passion for fostering youth development and cultural exchange has driven me to take on the role of District Rotary Youth Exchange Chair since 2019. Through this position, I help facilitate life-changing experiences for young people, promoting global understanding and friendship.

Special Recognition
Throughout my career and community service, I have been honored with several accolades that reflect my dedication and hard work. In 2009, I was recognized as a Tulare County Rising Star, highlighting my contributions and potential as a community leader. Hazel's Kitchen was awarded the Tulare Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year in 2011, a testament to our commitment to excellence and community support. Furthermore, my involvement with Rotary earned me the prestigious title of District Rotarian of the Year for 2017-2018, acknowledging my efforts and impact within the organization.
