T.R.U.E. is more than a credential pathway — it is a purposeful investment in the next generation of educators who will serve Tulare students for years to come.
Why TRUE?
The TRUE Teacher Residency Program is a one-year, paid residency that blends graduate-level coursework with hands-on classroom experience in Tulare City School District.
Residents are placed alongside a mentor teacher for the entire school year, gaining real-world experience while receiving ongoing professional learning and support. This is teacher preparation designed with intention — and built for impact.
