Boundary Adjustment Information and Documents
Tulare City School District is currently in the process of implementing Universal Transitional Kindergarten for all 4- year-olds. Governor Gavin Newsom signed Assembly Bill (AB) 130, which requires Transitional Kindergarten (TK) for all 4- year-olds by 2025-2026. Currently, TCSD offers TK for 4-year-olds born between September and February. By 2025-2026, TCSD is required to have a TK program for all 4-year-olds spanning all 12 months. This new requirement, for all 4-year-olds, necessitates classrooms to contain them. In order to make room for TK and to alleviate overcrowding, TCSD must adjust school residence boundaries and build facilities.
