Superintendent's Office
The Superintendent’s office is available to answer questions about board meetings and board policies, as well as assist with public records requests, inquiries about our website, social media presence, AERIES Communication Messages, and other concerns or questions from parents or the community.
The District Superintendent must approve all requests for distribution of flyers to our schools prior to delivery to schools. Please see the guidelines about student activity resource flyers by visiting Our Community page.
Superintendent's Message
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the start of the 2023-24 school year. I consider it an honor to serve as Superintendent. On behalf of the District, I would like to welcome you to the Tulare City School District website. We hope you will visit this site often for information and news about our schools. We are proud of the work of our staff and students, and invite you to browse this site to learn more about what we do.
The Board of Education, in collaboration with staff and families, has established the following District Priorities to meet the common expectation to raise (up) caring, creative and confident children:
1. Safe, Secure, and Healthy Learning and Work Environment for All
2. Teaching is Relevant, Purposeful, and Yields the Deepest Levels of Learning for All
3. Connecting to the Local and Global Communities
Within our classrooms, we seek to understand, engage, and support the continuous development of the whole child. Our instructional practices are designed to allow students to build independence and application of what is taught. We encourage and promote inquiry and individual meaning-making as we put students in the center of the learning process.
Our continuous improvement process includes annual goal setting and reporting of outcomes. Above all, we view education as a process that can only reach its total value when all in a community work together. We welcome your involvement and feedback and wish you a wonderful experience in our schools.
