History Social Science
The Tulare City School District's history-social science program follows the state adopted standards for history-social science. In this program, we proudly provide experiences and activities that enable each student to develop historical and cultural understanding essential for effective citizenship.
Learning at Every Grade Level
Essential learning that occurs at each grade level includes historical literacy, ethical literacy, cultural literacy, geographic literacy, economic literacy, and sociopolitical literacy. In order to achieve literacy in these areas, students must develop basic study skills, critical thinking skills, and participation skills.
